Action in the Ramsey County District Court for personal injuries allegedly sustained by plaintiff, Marie P. Daly, in a fall
in a store operated by defendants James Duffy and Robert Duffy, d.b.a. Duffy Brothers, in which store new equipment was being
installed by defendants John H. Bergstedt and George W. Nielsen, d.b.a. Bergstedt-Nielsen Store Equipment Company, and their
employee, defendant Richard A. Hotch. The case was tried before Leonard J. Keyes, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict
for plaintiff for $40,000. Defendants Bergstedt, Nielsen, and Hotch appealed from an order denying their motion for judgment
notwithstanding the verdict or for a new trial and their motion to set aside an order granting the other defendants indemnity. AUTHOR: MURPHY
